Save as My Template — reuse sections across all pages

How to save any section as a personal template and reuse it on any page or any website — the fastest way to keep your site consistent.

1

What is "Save as My Template"?

Every section in the builder has a bookmark icon (🔖) on its card. Clicking it saves that section — its full HTML, CSS, and content — as a personal template that you can reuse anywhere.

Your saved templates appear in the My Sections tab at the top of the variant picker, visible whenever you add a new section or switch a section's style. One click inserts the saved template exactly as you left it.

2

Why this is so useful

Consistent branding across pages

If you have a CTA banner with your WhatsApp number and brand colors exactly right, save it. Then on every other page — Contact, Services, About — drop it in instantly instead of rebuilding or editing it from scratch.

Reuse across multiple websites

Your saved templates are stored in your account, not on a specific website. If you manage multiple sites (different brands, different clients), your personal template library is available on all of them.

Preserve complex sections

If you spent time setting up a testimonial section with 6 filled-in reviews and star ratings, save it before experimenting. If a redesign goes wrong, you can restore the saved version instantly.

Skip the AI generation step

A saved template uses 0 AI credits. For a section you already have perfected, inserting it via My Templates is instant and free.

3

How to save a section as a template

1In the builder's left panel, find the section you want to save.
2Hover over the section card — a row of icons appears on the right.
3Click the bookmark icon (🔖).
4The section is saved immediately — no name required.

To see your saved templates: click + Add Section (or the between-section + button), then look for the My Sections row at the top of the type picker. Your templates appear there with a live preview thumbnail.

4

Typical workflows that use this feature

Consistent footer CTA on every page

Build a CTA banner with "Contact Us" and your WhatsApp number on the home page → save it → add it as the last content section on every other page. Your site has consistent lead capture everywhere with no extra AI spend.

Branded nav on a second website

You are launching a second business website. Open the builder for the new site → Add Section → My Sections → pick your saved nav. Your brand fonts, logo placement, and link style carry over instantly.

Client-ready portfolio pieces

You built a beautiful gallery section for a photography business. Save it. The next time a photography client signs up, you have a starting point that already looks polished.

Safe experimentation

You want to try a completely different style for your hero. Save the current hero → regenerate or redesign → if you hate the result, delete the new version and insert the saved original.

5

Managing your saved templates

To delete a saved template: go to My Sections in the variant picker → hover over the thumbnail → click the delete (×) button on the card. Deletion is permanent but only removes the template from your library, not from any page where it is already in use.

There is no rename function currently — saved templates are listed in the order they were saved. If you have many, the most recently saved appear first.

Plan limits for saved templates:

Basic: 20 saved templates
Starter: 50 saved templates
Pro: 200 saved templates

If you hit your limit, delete unused templates to make room. The templates you delete are not removed from pages — only from the My Sections library.

6

Save vs Section Creator — what is the difference?

Save as My Template saves a section the AI generated (or that you edited). You cannot edit the underlying HTML — it is stored as a finished piece.

Section Creator (/dashboard/section-creator) lets you write or paste custom HTML and CSS from scratch, preview it live, and save it to your library. If you are a developer or want a section that the AI cannot produce, Section Creator is the right tool.

Both types of saved sections appear in the same My Sections row in the variant picker.
