Custom domains — buy or connect
How to buy a new domain through EasyWebie or connect one you already own from GoDaddy, Namecheap, or any registrar.
In this guide
Two ways to get a custom domain
Option 1 — Buy a new domain through EasyWebie: Search, purchase, and connect all in one place. No external accounts needed. The domain auto-connects to your website immediately after purchase.
Option 2 — Connect a domain you already own: If you have a domain at GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, or any other registrar, you can point it to your EasyWebie site by changing the nameservers.
Buying a domain through EasyWebie
Your domain will be live (pointing to your website) within a few hours as the nameservers propagate worldwide.
Connecting an existing domain
If you already own a domain at another registrar:
DNS propagation takes between 10 minutes and 48 hours depending on your registrar. Once it propagates, your domain points to your EasyWebie site automatically.
How long does it take?
During this time the domain status in your dashboard shows "Pending". Once it goes live it changes to "Active".
Your free subdomain (yourname.easywebie.com) continues to work during this waiting period.
Domain renewal
Domains purchased through EasyWebie expire after 1 year. You will receive reminder emails at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry.
To renew, go to Domains in your dashboard and click Renew on the domain card. Renewal works on any plan — even Free — and only requires payment for the domain itself (not a subscription).
Setting up a business email
Once your domain is connected, you can set up a professional email like hello@yourdomain.com. EasyWebie supports Zoho Mail (India), Zoho Mail (Global), and Google Workspace. Click the ✉ Email button on your domain card — EasyWebie adds all DNS records automatically after a one-click confirmation. You can also change providers later from the same panel. See the Business Email guide for the full walkthrough.
