Upgrading, downgrading, and cancelling your plan

How to move between plans, what to check before downgrading, what happens to extra sites and domains, and how cancellation works.

1

How to upgrade your plan

1Go to Account & Plan in the dashboard sidebar
2Click Upgrade plan or go directly to the Pricing page
3Choose the plan you want
4Complete the secure Paddle checkout

Your plan upgrades immediately — you do not need to wait for the billing cycle to end. The new limits (AI builds, sites, domains) are available the moment the payment is processed.

If your account does not reflect the new plan within a few minutes, click Sync plan on your Account page to force a refresh.

2

What changes immediately on upgrade

When you upgrade:

Site limit increases — you can create more websites right away
AI build limit increases — monthly builds reset to the new plan's allowance
Domain limit increases — you can connect more custom domains
Page limit increases — you can add more pages to your sites
Sonnet access — if you upgraded to Starter or Pro, Sonnet is available immediately
EasyWebie badge — removed from all your sites on the next publish if you upgraded from Free

Downgrading — things to check first

Before downgrading, check how your usage compares to the lower plan's limits:

Sites: If you have 5 websites and are downgrading to Basic (3 site limit), your extra sites are not deleted — but you cannot create new ones and the over-limit sites may become read-only until you remove some.

Domains: If you have 3 custom domains and downgrade to Basic (1 domain limit), the existing connections are preserved but you cannot add new domains.

Pages: If pages exceed the lower plan's limit, existing pages are preserved — you just cannot add more.

AI builds: Your monthly AI build allowance drops to the lower plan's amount on your next billing cycle.

In general, downgrading does not delete anything — it just limits what new things you can create.

4

How to downgrade or cancel

1Go to Account & Plan in the dashboard
2Click Manage billing — this opens the Paddle customer portal
3In the Paddle portal:

- To downgrade: select the lower plan you want

- To cancel: click Cancel subscription

4Confirm the action

Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your paid plan remains active until then — you are not cut off immediately.

5

What happens after cancellation

When your paid plan ends after cancellation:

Your account moves to the Free plan automatically
You retain 1 website (all others become read-only — not deleted)
Custom domain connections may be suspended if you exceed the Free plan's 0 domain limit
AI builds reset to the lifetime limit (10 total; any already used count against it)
Your EasyWebie badge reappears on your site
All your content, pages, and site data is preserved — nothing is deleted

If you resubscribe later, everything is exactly as you left it.

6

Refund policy

EasyWebie billing is handled by Paddle. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and no further charges apply after the current period ends — partial month refunds are not available as standard.

For annual plans, if you cancel within a short window after purchase and have not used the service significantly, contact support to discuss a prorated refund. Open a support ticket with your account email and the reason.

For billing disputes or unexpected charges, contact support with your Paddle transaction ID — the team can investigate and escalate to Paddle where needed.
