Account settings — email verification, plan sync, and account deletion

How to verify your email (required before publishing), what to do if your plan does not update after payment, and how to delete your account.

1

The Account & Plan tab

Click Account & Plan in the dashboard sidebar to access your account settings. This tab has three main sections:

Profile — your email address and verification status
Plan — your current plan, AI usage, and billing options
Danger zone — account deletion

Most day-to-day account questions are answered here.

2

Email verification — why it is required

EasyWebie requires a verified email address before you can publish your website for the first time. This is a one-time security step.

If you try to publish and see an "Email not verified" error or the publish flow shows a verification step, it means your email has not been confirmed yet.

When you signed up, EasyWebie sent a verification email to your account address. Click the link in that email to verify.

3

Resending the verification email

If you can not find the original verification email:

1Go to Account & Plan in the dashboard sidebar
2In the Profile card, you will see an amber warning: "Email not verified — verify your email to unlock publishing"
3Click Resend verification email
4Check your inbox (and spam folder)
5Click the link in the email
6Come back to the dashboard and click Publish again

The resend button sends a fresh link immediately. If the email still does not arrive after a few minutes, check your spam filter. Add noreply@easywebie.com to your contacts to prevent future filtering.

4

Plan not updated after payment — use Sync Plan

After upgrading your plan, Paddle sends a webhook to EasyWebie to update your account. In rare cases this webhook is delayed by a few minutes.

If your plan does not update within 2–3 minutes of completing payment:

1Go to Account & Plan
2Scroll to the Plan card
3Click Sync plan
4EasyWebie checks your Paddle subscription status directly and updates your plan if a confirmed payment is found

If Sync Plan reports "No change found", wait another 2–3 minutes and try again. If the issue persists after 10 minutes, open a support ticket with your Paddle receipt email — the team can manually update your plan.

5

Managing your billing

Click Manage billing (visible on paid plans) to open the Paddle customer portal in a new tab. From the Paddle portal you can:

View all past invoices and download PDF receipts
Update your payment method (card details)
Cancel your subscription
See your next billing date and amount

Billing is handled entirely by Paddle — EasyWebie does not store your payment card information.

6

Deleting your account

Account deletion is permanent and immediate. It removes:

All websites and their pages
All uploaded images and media files
All blog posts and form submissions
Your subscription and billing history with EasyWebie (Paddle receipts remain on Paddle)

To delete your account:

1Go to Account & Plan
2Scroll to the bottom of the page
3Click Delete account
4In the confirmation modal, type DELETE (in capital letters) into the text field
5Click Delete my account

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first via the Paddle portal to stop future charges — account deletion does not automatically cancel Paddle subscriptions.
